Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role is perfect for a creative and motivated individual looking to gain valuable experience in marketing and outreach. The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting marketing strategies, managing promotional materials, and assisting with various marketing and outreach projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote services to businesses and job seekers.
• Manage all promotional materials, signage, and branding requirements.
• Prepare marketing reports and assist with newsletters and social media platforms.
• Learn and understand program goals and requirements to ensure compliance.
• Increase and promote agency programs through outreach and marketing campaigns.
• Post, update, and manage content on the organization's website and social media platforms.
• Build and maintain cooperative relationships with targeted communities.
• Prepare, edit, and distribute organizational publications for internal or external audiences.
• Assist with coordination of career events, job fairs, workshops, webinars, and presentations.
• Create and distribute surveys to customers and community-based organizations.
• Assess the effectiveness of marketing and outreach efforts and provide recommendations.

Qualifications

• Current student working towards a degree in public or business administration, advertising, marketing, public relations, social work, psychology, or sociology.
• Education requirement is a Bachelor's Degree.
• Strong knowledge of media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to apply rules, policies, and regulations effectively.
• Proficient in preparing accurate marketing and outreach reports.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including tact, patience, and courtesy.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
• Proficient in the operation of a computer and assigned software.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, for diverse audiences.

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, standard business hours.

Benefits

The position offers competitive pay, with a minimum pay of $20 and a maximum pay of $25 per hour. Additional benefits may be available as part of the employment package.
